Learn how to knit

The Jamestown library is offering after-school knitting for youths in the fourth grade and up.

Learn how to knit from a pro in two sessions on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and Oct., 18 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Supplies are provided free of charge.

However, registration is required. Children who already know how to knit are welcome to attend, too, but they should bring their own supplies. Children will be using circular needles, #9, 10, 10.5, or 11 to do a project in the round.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of Jamestown Library. Call 423-7280 to sign up for this free program.
