Round the Island Bike Race on Oct. 9

Monday, Oct. 9, brings the 31st annual Jamestown Classic 'Round the Island Bike Race. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. the Children's Race will start. The Citizens Race will be at 9:30 a.m., with several categories for age and gender. At 11:30 a.m.,

the first of several USCF sanctioned events will begin. Prizes will be awarded for these categories. Online registration is available at www.jamestownclassic. org. Day of registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Community Center.

Sponsored by the Jamestown Rotary, and benefiting many local and international causes, this event requires a large volunteer effort. Anyone able to volunteer should contact Tyler Page at wtp4@aol. com.
