Recycling efforts rewarded
Town Engineer Mike Gray and Public Works Director Steve Goslee receive a check for $9,167 from Sherry Mulhearn, executive director of Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corp., for exceeding the town's recycling goals for the year. In all, the town recycled some 996 tons of waste, or 24 percent of the town's total waste stream.
