Balzer and Schipritt wed

Mr. and Mrs. Schipritt

Ashley Balzer and Michael Schipritt were married June 4, 2006 in St. Mark Church, with the Rev. Raymond Beaulieu officiating. A reception followed at Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Balzer of Jamestown, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schipritt of Charlestown.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maid of honor Keleigh Balzer, her sister.

The best man was Doug Batche, and ushers were Thomas Schipritt and Aaron Schipritt, brothers of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.

Employed by the Jamestown Police Department, the bride is a graduate of Salve Regina University. Employed as an environmental police officer for the state of Rhode Island, the groom is a graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

They will make their home in Jamestown.
