Christopher A. Golini, 25
Born July 7, 1981 in Boston, he was a loving son of Kathleen (Alves) Golini and Dr. William J. Golini, and a loving brother and best friend to Lee Golini, all of Jamestown, where he had been a lifelong resident. He attended Jamestown School and graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School in 1999. He attended Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Conn., and continued on to graduate from Bryant College in 2004 with a major in finance and minor in Japanese and law. Having spent a semester in Australia at Bond University, he was an avid traveler. He embraced Japanese culture with the hope of working in Asia. He was beginning his career in Ft. Lauderdale in the financial industry. Chris was loved by all who knew him, and he brought joy, affection and thoughtfulness to all who were fortunate to be part of his life. Beside his parents and brother, he is survived by his grandparents, Joseph and Della (Landi) Golini of Cranston and Palmera (Massa) Alves of Bristol. He was the grandson of the late Manuel "Steve" Alves. He was the nephew and godchild of Rosemary Golini and godson of Jim O'Neil. His funeral was held Saturday, Oct. 6, from the Nardolillo Funeral Home in Narragansett, followed a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church. Burial was in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
