Love songs to be performed

Singer and guitarist Paul Hoffman will sing "Love Songs of the Swing Era" at the Peace Dale Library, 1057 Kingstown Rd., Peace Dale, on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m.

Hoffman is a full-time family therapist who was a touring folk singer for several years before developing a longtime interest in jazz standards. He accompanies himself on guitar and performs at libraries, senior centers, and other non-profit venues. The program is a one-hour show that draws upon the American Songbook to illuminate the four dimensions of love: lost love, hopeful love, new love, and lasting love.
