Empty bowls coming Nov. 3
Empty Bowls 2006 will be held on Friday, Nov. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Melrose Avenue School. The second annual event will raise funds to help feed those in need. The evening will allow participants to select a hand-crafted ceramic bowl, which will be filled with hearty soups or stews. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for children under 17, and participants get to keep their bowls. There will be a silent auction of bowlrelated art and music.
