Learn about wind power

Aquidneck Island Planning Commission will host a seminar on the pros and cons of wind power on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Atlantic Beach Club.

The meeting will run from 5 to 8 p.m., and there will be refreshments and a cash bar.

Presentations will be made on wind-powered energy by the Renewable Energy Research Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and People's Power and Light of Rhode Island.
