Ham and bean supper upcoming

Seniors Helping Others will hold a Ham & Bean Supper on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Wakefield Elks Club on Belmont Avenue.

The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and tickets cost $6 per person. The event will also include a 50/50 raffle, with raffle tickets selling for $10 each.

Proceeds will benefit Seniors Helping Others. For further information, contact SHO at 789-2362. SHO is an acronym for Serving communities, Helping others, Opportunities for all. The organization matches volunteers with volunteer opportunities throughout South County and Jamestown.
