Jog a success

The 18th annual Jamestown Jack O' Lantern Jog 5K Road Race was held this past Sunday.

I would like to thank this year's sponsors: World Trophies, Crystal Springs Water Co., Runner's World magazine, Spinnakers Café, and the Jamestown Press.

I would also like to thank all the local businesses that made donations for our free raffle: Ace's Pizza, Secret Garden, Jamestown Hardware, Central Garage, McQuade's market, Baker's Pharmacy, the Purple Door, Chopmist Charlie's, Jamestown Designs, Del Nero Cleaners, Conanicut Marine Services, Ken's Barber Shop, Art's Auto, Trattoria Simpatico, House of Pizza, East Ferry Deli, R & R Gallery, Jamieson Salon, Video Showcase, the Jamestown Golf Course, the Bay Voyage, Ocean State Scuba, the Oyster Bar, New England Runner, and Slice of Heaven.

All proceeds from the Jack O'Lantern Jog will be used to help make improvements at the Community Center.
