Garden club makes fall arrangements Monday

The Quononoquott Garden Club will meet at St. Matthew's Parish Hall on Monday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. After the business meeting, the program entitled "Autumn Leaves" will begin at 1 p.m.

Under the expert tutelage of club member Suzi Andrews, attendees will create an arrangement for Thanksgiving. She is asking that members bring sedum, wheat, gourds, hydrangea, and a favorite container for the project. The club will provide extra fillers.

The Hospitality Team consists of Betty Ann Taylor, Susan Little, Nancy Mason, and Nina Pesare.

The Civic Beautification team for the month, headed by Rita Antine, will remove leaves from several downtown areas.
