Internet safety forum offered

North Kingstown's Prevention Task Force, Working Together for Wellness, and CODAC Behavioral Healthcare will present a very special evening for the North Kingstown community and Jamestown families.

This event is the first in a series of programs CODAC's Community Empowerment Grant will bring to North Kingstown over the next year to help identify issues that affect our community and to create strategies for engaging adults in the prevention process.

The session will be held on Monday, Nov. 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Given by expert Dr. Lawrence Filipelli, the program will deal with how to cope in the vast new world of cyberspace safely and responsibly.

Adults and students from grade 5 and up are invited to attend the presentation on keeping families and children safe.

Meet at the North Kingstown High School cafeteria, 150 Fairway Drive, North Kingstown.
