     The Jamestown Historical Society unveiled an exhibit of ferryboat models in its display case at the Jamestown library last week. The nine models depict ferryboats owned and operated by the Jamestown & Newport Ferry Company.

Edible insects at the library
     On Saturday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m., David Gracer of Sunrise Land Shrimp will conduct a program about edible insects for children and their families. Gracer will talk about the merits of eating insects, and demonstrate how to cook and eat beetles, grasshoppers, crickets and moths.
