Islanders are caring people
During the season of thanksgiving, I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of my family for the many kind expressions of sympathy offered by our friends, relatives, neighbors and the people of Jamestown following the death of my husband, Dan on August 3rd. We are grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the Jamestown EMS, the Jamestown Police Department, and especially, Chief Thomas Tighe. Also thanks to the staff of the Jamestown Early Learning Center. Special gratitude to Rev. William O'Neill of St. Mark Church and to all those who participated in the mass. My family and I are so fortunate to live in such a caring and helpful community.
