Drunk driving charged

Wieslawa Dicenso, 56, of Providence was charged Nov. 25 with drunk driving after he was stopped for driving on the wrong side of the road near the intersection of Clarke and High streets

Dicenso is scheduled to appear Dec. 8 in Newport District Court, police said.

License violation

Christopher P. Lagasee, 21, of Narragansett, was charged Nov. 25 with driving with a suspended license after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 138.

Lagasee is scheduled to appear Dec. 8 in Newport District Court, police said.

Mailbox damaged

A resident of Beavertail Road told police Nov. 26 that his mailbox had been smashed.
