Woodard & Curran adds islander to staff

Woodard & Curran, a national engineering, science, and operations firm, has announced the appointments of staff at its Providence office.

Kelly Cowan, P.E., of Jamestown, has been appointed as a project engineer. She has 13 years of experience, including serving as an environmental consultant to industrial, utility, institutional, and government clients throughout New England and New York.

Prior to consulting, Cowan served as an enforcement officer and permit engineer for the state Department of Environmental Management. She earned a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Villanova University. Woodard & Curran offers a full

range of civil engineering, permitting, land development, renewable energy, research and development investigations, solid waste management, water, wastewater, and storm-water engineering, and automation and controls services to public and private sectors nationwide.
