Chorus to perform in state concert
      The Rhode Island Festival Chorus will produce its second statewide choral concert on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at East Providence High School. Five choruses from all over the Ocean State will join together under the direction of Dr. Robert A. Harris, a professor at Northwestern University.

Model railroad show coming to Fall River
      The 20th annual Railroad Show will be held Sunday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Durfee High School in Fall River. There will be 125 tables of dealers and exhibitors from throughout New England selling railroad antiques and model railroad equipment for all gauges.

Zoo offers free admission
      Roger Williams Park Zoo is offering free admission for all visitors on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. The zoo is also offering all visitors half-priced admission for the winter season, from Jan. 2 to March 31. Free-will donations will be accepted on New Year’s Day.
