Kozel honored

Caitlin Kozel, a student at Brandeis University, was named an athlete of the week for the week of Dec. 4, 2006 at the university.

A member of the fencing team, Kozel tallied a team-best 9-4 record for the Brandeis women at the Brandeis Invitational, held Dec. 3. She picked up the team’s only wins in epee against Brown University She also posted 2-1 records against Yale and Cornell.

She is the daughter of Randy and Margaret Kozel of Jamestown.
