Thanks for helping

Many thanks to all who have contributed to Operation Support Our Troops. We hope to make another mailing on the first of the year.

Our “Pennies for Postage” cannisters are at Trattoria Simpatico, Chop Mist Charlie’s, Bank Newport, Cumberland Farms, and Jamestown Hardware. There are also boxes for items needed at Baker’s Pharmacy and the U.S. post office. We are grateful to these areas for their co-operation and help.

The people of Jamestown are very generous, and our brave troops appreciate all your kindness. The pleasure of clean socks, a wet-wipe or even a hard candy when out on patrol goes a long way to relieve stress. And this lets the military know that we care.

Also your donations are 100-percent deductible, and checks can be made out to “Operation Support Our Troops.”
