Sidewalks needed

I find it increasingly hazardous and sometimes downright dangerous to walk as a pedestrian on lower Clinton Avenue just south of Narragansett Avenue.

Why is this? There are no sidewalks for people to walk. There are deep ruts and holes in places where, if you are not very careful, you can twist an ankle or worse!

Why is this condition getting more and more pronounced?

Various vehicles park on both sides of the relatively narrow street making walking more difficult. Why is this? This condition goes on day and night, especially during working days. Even on certain holidays the area is literally jammed with vehicles at all angles to the narrow road. Why is this allowed, especially with frequently speeding vehicles?
