Nicholas Coste, 71
Nicholas Coste, 71, of Flourtown, Pa., died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Anne Hord Coste for 42 years.
Mr. Coste grew up in Jamestown. He attended St. Michael's School in Newport and graduated from the Kent School. He went to Penn State University.
Mr. Coste was employed as a salesman for Mechanics Choice/ Barnes Distribution for 42 years. A former vestry member, Mrs. Coste was involved with St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chestnut Hill, Pa. He served on the Alumni Council at the Kent School, and served on the boards of Saint Francis Academy and the Philadelphia Cricket Club. He was a member of the Army and Navy Club and the First Troop Philadelphia City Calvary.
He was an avid golfer.
Besides his wife, Mr. Coste is survived by his daughters, Suzanne L. Coste, Allison C. Romig, and Sarah P. Coste; a sister, Betsey C. Outerbridge; a brother, Paul Coste, and grandchildren, Austin S. Romig and Cary J. Romig. Mr. Coste was predeceased by his brother, Pierre Coste, and his parents, Paul and Dorothy P. Coste.
Services will be on Saturday, Jan. 13, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Chestnut Hill.
