The following construction permits were filed recently in Town Hall:

Building permits

Joy Kules received a permit Jan. 8 to reroof the house at 188 Conanicus Ave., work estimated to cost $4,500.

Peter and Judith Twombly received a permit Jan. 8 to make roof repairs at 43 Marine Ave., work estimated to cost $1,000.

Charlie Higgins received a permit Jan. 9 to build a two-story addition at 24 Pierce Ave., work estimated to cost $225,000.

Mary Pat Ryan received a permit Jan. 9 to install a hot tub pad and repair porches at 15 Priscilla Rd., work estimated to cost $50,000.

Clifford Kurz received a permit Jan. 11 to remodel a house and build a kitchen addition at 56 Wright Lane, work estimated to cost $150,000.

Electrical permits

Tom Shaw received a permit Jan. 8 to install a receptacle and wire the dishwasher at 167 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $600.

Charles Kincaid received a permit Jan. 8 to replace the service entrance at 119 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $300.

Stephen Lane received a permit Jan. 9 to wire an addition to code at 183 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $4,500.

Frank Sullivan received a permit Jan. 9 to install a backup generator at 37 Whale Rock Rd., work estimated to cost $1,000.

Ruth McIntyre received a permit Jan. 10 to wire a new home with 200-amp service at 51 Bryer Ave., work estimated to cost $25,000.

John Somyk received a permit Jan. 10 to wire a home with underground service at 401 Seaside Drive, work estimated to cost $22,000.

The Town of Jamestown received a permit Jan. 11 to install new 200 amp service, wire pumps, compressors at the water tower at 96 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $28,000.

Mechanical permits Executive Lodging LLC received a permit Jan. 8 to install a wood-burning fireplace and chimney at 42 Standish Rd., work estimated to cost $3,000.

Stephen Lane received a permit Jan. 9 to install three zones of heat at 183 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $3,500.

Sandra McKenzie received a permit Jan. 10 to install gas stoves in a house at 262 Seaside Drive, work estimated to cost $6,200.
