The Friends of the Jamestown Library will present Vice Admiral Thomas Weschler, co-chair of Amica Insurance Tall Ships Rhode Island 2007 tonight, Jan. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the library.

Vice Admiral Weschler will discuss the upcoming festival where up to 30 tall ships are expected to fill Newport Harbor beginning June 27 and concluding with a grand Parade of Sail to sea on July 1, 2007.

Come learn about the exciting plans for this wonderful celebration.

A PowerPoint presentation showing many of the participating tall ships will accompany the talk. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
