Billy Jonas concert will get feet tapping

To be caught up in a wonderful explosion of energy, don't miss the Billy Jonas Family Concert at the Jane Pickens Theater on Sunday, March 25. Back for his second visit to Newport, Billy Jonas will give a performance to benefit the Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation and List Academy of Music and Arts.

This wacky one-man musical wonder captivates audiences of all ages with his weird, homemade instruments, original songs and stories, and his irresistible invitation to sing-a-long, bang-a-long, and whisper-a-long. He draws children from the audience up onto the stage to play along on buckets, cans, water bottles and the like. Everybody is in the band at a Billy Jonas Family Concert.

Billy has released two children's DVDs, "Everybody's In The Band" and "Bangin' and Sangin'" (Parent's Choice Gold Winners) and a children's CD "What Kind of Cat Are You?" (2003 Indie Award for the Best Children's Recording) that will be for sale after the show.

Ticket prices are; orchestra, $25; general admission, $10 for adults, $5 for children (12 yrs and under). Seating starts at 12:20 p.m. Concert begins at 12:30 PM.
