Mary S. Wright to be honored

The Jamestown Education Foundation will host the first "Toast of the Town," on March 31, at 6:30 p.m. This is an evening to honor the significant contribution Mary S. Wright has made to the community. JEF invites everyone to the Portuguese American Citizens' Club to thank Mary for her commitment and dedication to the young people of Jamestown.

The evening begins with a cash bar. Following a buffet dinner, everyone will laugh and cry through a cabaret revival of songs from many of the plays and musicals Mary has produced over the years. Come listen to your favorite songs from Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady and others.

Jamestown Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and cultural enrichment for all students in Jamestown. JEF works in partnership with community organizations to support innovative programs that inspire young minds, encourage academic excellence and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Tickets are $50 to $100 per person, with all proceeds funding more programming for the youth of Jamestown. Seating at the PAC Club is limited, so get your tickets early. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Lisa Carlisle at 423-3353.
