NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON APRIL 24, 2007, AT THE JAMESTOWN LIBRARY, 26 NORTH ROAD, JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND AT 7:00 P.M. UPON THE FOLLOWING:

Application of Beth Smith, whose property is located at 86 Orient Ave., and further identified as Tax Assessor's Plat 1, Lot 320 for a Special Use Permit under Article 3, Section 314 (High Ground Water/Impervious Layer Overlay District) to permit the construction of a single-family residence, and also a Dimension Variance under Article 3, Table 3-2 to allow said dwelling to be 30.3'from the front lot line (40' being the requirement) and 17.6' from the northerly side lot line, and 17.3' from the southerly side lot line (30' being the requirement). Said property is located in a RR80 zone and contains 24,275 sq. ft.

NOTICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE

DECISION

An application for modification has been submitted to the Zoning Enforcement Officer, pursuant to Article 6, Section 609 of the Jamestown Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Enforcement Officer has decided that the request is consistent with the requirements of 609. You have the right to file a written objection to this determination and, if timely filed, the request for modification shall be denied. If no written objections are received within thirty (30) days of APRIL 12, 2007, the modification shall be granted.

Application of David R. and Teresa A. Emond, whose property is located at 116 Howland Ave., and further identified as Tax Assessor's Plat 9, Lot 501 for a variance from Article 3, Section 311 - Maximum Size of Accessory Structures to construct a potting and storage shed (10 x 12) which exceeds the allowable limit. Said property is located in a R20 zone and contains 11,000 sq. ft. (4/12)
