Thanks for help at successful rabies clinic

The Town Clerk's Office would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to everyone who helped and volunteered their time at the rabies clinic on Saturday, April 7.

The Town Clerk's Office registered 65 dogs in just in one hour with help from Animal Control Officer Cathy Gregory, RI Veterinary Medical Association, Jamestown Animal Clinic, Humane Society of Jamestown, Friends of the James- town Animal Shelter, Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department and the Boy Scouts.

I would like to take this time to remind all dog owners that they have the month of April to renew their dog license(s) as required by RI General Law.

Please return your license renewal form and required fee to the Town Clerk's Office on Conanicus Avenue (golf course building) or mail it to 93 Narragansett Ave. as soon as possible.

If you need to register a new dog, please stop by the Town Clerk's Office with a current and valid rabies certificate. Kimberly A. Turcone   Deputy Town Clerk
