Since you published the story that the newly formed Jamestown Wind Power Committee has been invited to a conference for leaders, government officials and experts on wind energy, the venue has moved to Corless Auditorium at the University of Rhode Island Bay Campus and it is now open to the public. The Senior Exhibition program was created this year to allow English students to demonstrate their ability to write, speak, apply knowledge and problem solve while using skills such as time management, organization and risk taking. More ... The construction of our new Town Hall is progressing and the overall appearance of the building is taking shape. As the building comes together, I observe that special steel supports have been erected in the northwest corner of the first floor. It appears that this steel work is an additional expense necessitated by the large storefront windows in the design plans. More ...
