recuperating from window hit
Steve Turilli took this photo in his Battery Lane yard shortly after a sharp-shinned hawk, holding a robin in its talons, flew into his kitchen window. Both birds were dazed and confused for awhile, but they seemed to come to an agreement and each flew their separate ways.
