Mary D. Harris, 78
Mary D. Harris, 78, a longtime Glastonbury, Conn. resident, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Hartford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond S. Harris, Jr. Born in Jamestown on May 1, 1928. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Murray) Dowling. She spent her professional career in the insurance industry.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie H. and Dave Nabel of Wethersfield; three grandchildren, Michael Raymond of Newington, Conn.; Dan Nabel of Wethersfield, Conn.; and Brandon Ensign of Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, John Dowling of Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Sandra Gray-Harris in 2003, and two sisters and a brother.
The funeral was held yesterday from the Glastonbury Funeral Home. The burial will be Saturday, May 5, in St. Mark Cemetery.
