Donate items for June event

Central Baptist Church in Jamestown is requesting donations of gently used games, books, DVDs, decorative items, jewelry, wooden or wicker furniture and garden equipment for its June Festival.

Good condition housewares, rugs and paintings are also sought.

The church will be open Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon to accept the much-appreciated donations beginning May 19 through June 16. Call Marilyn Dennis at 423-1235 to arrange for items to be picked up.

The festival will be held on June 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with live and silent auctions, face painting, chowder, strawberry shortcake and more.
