Casey Farm holds plant sale

Casey Farm will hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to all sorts of vegetables, flowers and herbs, children's activities and free house museum tours will be available after 10 a.m. on both days.

Casey Farm is certified organic and plants are grown without chemical pesticides or fertilizers. There will be organic fertilizers available for sale and information on gardening from our knowledgeable staff. Items for sale include, annual and perennial flowers especially for cottage gardens and butterfly gardens, ever-popular mix packs of old-time and unusual tomatoes, eggplants and peppers.

Varieties are tested and retested at Casey Farm. Big red tomatoes and basil are always favorites, but there are a wide variety of heirloom tomatoes to make everyone's

mouth water

all season long.
