      Simple assault charged David C. Harpool, 18, of 149 Hamilton Ave., was charged June 4 with assaulting an 18-year old male. The victim was walking home from the incident when officers found him and he asked to press charges. Harpool was picked up at 35 Clinton Ave., and taken to the police station where he was held and arraigned.

      Fire runs 2:32 p.m., May 28, Ladder 1, Car 3, Engines 1, 2 and 3 answered a false alarm on West Street. 7:17 a.m., May 29, the fire marshal was dispatched to Pemberton Avenue for a code violation call. 7 p.m., May 31, all units responded to a drill at the station at 50 Narragansett Ave.
