'Summertime Fun in Jamestown'

Debra Magnan Debra Magnan, of Warwick, loves to spend time in Jamestown during the summer months. She and her husband Joe often go to Beavertail on the weekends. One of her favorite activities is sitting on a bench at East Ferry, enjoying the sunshine and the peace of the ocean while watching boats. Mary Pat Latham Mary Pat Latham, of Chepachet, is looking forward to spending as much time as possible this summer on her motorboat. She keeps it docked in Jamestown and comes to the island every other weekend with her husband. She is looking forward to cruising around the bay, being outdoors in the sunshine, and just enjoying the beauty of the island. One of her favorite places to eat in Jamestown is the patio at Trattoria Simpatico. Mary Pat Latham Mary Pat Latham, of Chepachet, is looking forward to spending as much time as possible this summer on her motorboat. Greg Cole Greg Cole, of Sydney, Australia, is looking forward to enjoying the bright skies and beautiful weather of Jamestown this summer. He says Rhode Island is "a very unique place" and the weather is very different than he is used to in Australia. He hopes to spend as much time as possible sailing, surfing, and fishing this summer. Annette Rotti Annette Rotti, of Worcester, Massachusetts, and her husband, will be spending this summer traveling around New England in their motor home. They will be spending about two weeks here and are enjoying the island as first-time visitors. She is most looking forward to visiting Beavertail and Mackerel Cove Beach before they move on to their next destination. They hope to come back to Jamestown for the Tall Ships Festival later this month.
