'Webspinner' to tell her tales
Storyteller Charlotte Hamlin will perform "Is it TRUE? Is it REALLY True? Find out at your library!" on Wednesday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m., for children ages four years and older and their families.
Hamlin shares amazing stories from around the world about people, animals and events that may or may not be entirely true. With the assistance of her puppet friend, "Clara Clacker," colorful hats and participatory songs, she engages audiences with stories of remarkable events that will encourage children to check out the facts at the library to see if the story is really true. Did a young Viking princess really become a pirate almost a thousand years ago? Can dreams really turn to gold? Can children be heroes? Go hear Charlotte "Webspinner" and find out.
Registration is not required for this free, 45-minute performance, which is part of the summer reading program, "Get a Clue @ Your Library."
