Jamestown is idyllic if trash is not thrown about. The south Ft. Getty parking lot needs a trash can, as does the West Ferry dock.

Boaters should bag their trash and not throw it overboard. This "stuff," ends up on beaches everywhere. If every person would think about this, we could have beautiful beaches and public places.

As the national parks suggest: "leave nothing but footprints."
