John A. Hull Jr., 71, of 625 North Main Rd., Jamestown, died July 15, 2007 at home after a brief illness.

Feb. 23, 1936, he was the son of the late John A. Hull Sr. and Mary (Marquis) Hull.

He was employed by Cedar Cemetery as a groundskeeper until his retirement in 1999. A lifelong island resident, he was an avid fisherman and quahogger.

He is survived by his two sisters, Diane Hull of Jamestown, and Hope Hull of Pawtucket; two nieces, one nephew and his beloved cat Frizzy.
