Bowl making sessions scheduled
      Three sessions for making bowls to be used in this fall's Empty Bowls fund-raising event, have been scheduled for August. The sessions will be on Wednesdays, Aug. 8, 15, and 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Melrose Avenue School art room.

      Tonight, Thursday, Aug. 2, at 7 p.m., the Jamestown library invites children ages 4 years and over to come with their families to a performance by musician and music teacher Greg Cooney.
