Eleanor F. Maderia, 80
Eleanor F. (Keating) Maderia, 80, of Neptune Avenue died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at Village House & Rehabilitation Center, Newport. She was the wife of the late Arthur Maderia.
Born in Portland, Maine, the daughter of the late Clifford H. and Cleona M. (Degre) Keating, she had lived in Jamestown for many years.
She was a bus monitor, employed by the Town of Jamestown for more than 17 years, and was the recipient of a citation for her many years of dedicated service to the town. She was also employed as a parking attendant at Mackerel Cove Beach during the summer season.
She was a volunteer for the Threads of Love and was a communicant of St. Mark Church.
She is survived by her cousin, Joan Peltier and her husband Dr. Joseph Peltier of Warwick, and her step-brother, Robert Vorron of Maine.
A mass of Christian burial will be held today, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
