Soccer sign-ups deadline Aug. 20

Registration for the Fall 2007 recreation soccer league will end on Monday, Aug. 20.

The process for registering a child is done on-line by accessing the Jamestown Soccer Association (JSA) registration forms from the JSA website at www.jamestownsoccer. com. On-line registration cannot be made using a Macintosh computer. For those unable to access the Internet, JSA recommends using the public computers at the Jamestown library.

The fall season begins on Sept. 8 and will run though Oct. 27. Adult volunteers are needed for coaching, concessions and field maintenance. As always, there will be a need for coaches in all age groups. Jamestown Soccer will be holding the Draft Night at the library on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. After the teams are set, players will be called sometime during the first week in September by the coaches with information about the season and practice schedule.
