Snack bar to benefit from Glow Ball tourney

On Saturday, Sept. 15, Jamestown Baseball and Soccer Associations will co-sponsor a Glow Ball tournament to raise funds for repairs to the baseball and soccer fields concession stand.

The event will be held at the Jamestown Golf Course and will start at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $35 per person. Additional costs are the glow ball ($6 each) and stick ($1 each). The event is scheduled rain or shine and is limited to adults only. The cost includes nine holes of Glow Ball and hot dogs, pizza, and calzones after the event. A raffle will also be conducted.

Advanced reservations are recommended and must be accompanied by payment. Same day reservations will be available on a first come, first served basis. Advanced reservations can be made in person at the Jamestown Recreation Center, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or by mail. If registering by mail, be sure to include payment to the Jamestown Youth Athletic League, name, address, phone, and number of golfers in party. Mail registrations to Glow Ball Tournament, P.O.
