A surprise 50th anniversary party for Joan and William "Andy" Anderson was celebrated July 14 in Raleigh, N.C. Joan is a native Jamestowner, who moved to Raleigh in 1996. Joan's sisters, Genevieve Currie and Peggy Sheehan, from Jamestown, attended the event.
