Chorus to perform Saturday night

The Men's Chorus of Jamestown will present its annual concert on Saturday, Sept. 1. The popular group, formerly known as the Jamestown All-Guy Choir, will present a fun evening of music and just a bit of silliness. The chorus is under the direction of founder B.J. Whitehouse, who is in his fifteenth season. Whitehouse will lead the chorus in a program of serious choral music and a generous smattering of not-so-serious music.

The public is invited to say good-bye to summer with some good old-fashioned fun in this family-oriented concert. And, of course, the audience will get a chance to join in during the singalong portion of the program.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the community center, 41 Conanicus Ave. in Jamestown.

Tickets will be available at the door, or by calling 423-1574 for reservations. Ticket prices are $7 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors. Check the website at: www.jamestownri. com/ifdss/men for more information.
