Anime club underway
      The Anime Club meets at the library every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. The group gets together and views and discusses Japanese Anime films. This club is free and open to all teens and registration is not required.

Shores group to meet Sept. 26
      The Jamestown Shores Association will hold a meeting at the senior center at 6 West St. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. All are invited to join the group to catch-up on the happenings in the Shores, meet friends and enjoy coffee and dessert. Bring a neighbor or a friend.

Sing-along for kids at library
      The children's department of the Jamestown library will present a sing-along for young children and their families with Mike Warner on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. This free program will be held in the library meeting hall at 26 North Main Rd.

      North Kingstown High School will hold an open house for all parents on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. at the auditorium. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, follow a typical day's schedule and learn about activities at the high school.

Miller photos on display at library
      A select collection of Jamestown visual artist Don Miller's photography is on display at the library on North Main Road until the middle of October. Miller's diverse career began in the U.S. Navy in the Western Pacific in 1971, and has since taken him from the North American continent to the Caribbean and parts of Europe.

Watson Farm tour on Sunday
      Enjoy the first day of autumn with a special guided tour of the scenic Watson Farm. On Sunday, Sept. 23, Don and Heather Minto, farm managers for 27 years, will lead the walk and share their research, experiences and stories as they take participants on a two-mile scenic hike through the extensive seaside agrarian landscape. The tour will begin promptly at 2 p.m.
