Help fill needs at food pantry
Victims of domestic violence, served by the Women's Resource Center of Newport and Bristol Counties, are in need of items to stock the food pantry.
Requests for Food Pantry assistance have been high in recent months and help is needed from community members in Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, Tiverton, Little Compton, Jamestown, Bristol, Warren and Barrington.
Dry or canned goods, and especially baby care items, like diapers, and personal hygiene and feminine care items are much needed. If anyone would rather help by making a contribution to the Women's Resource Center, cash donations can be used to purchase gift cards at local supermarkets to help an individual or family. Please bring donations to the Women's Resource Center's Newport location at 114 Touro Street, or the Warren location at 624 Main St.
