Help center plan activities for teens
      The Jamestown Teen Center invites all teens, parents and the public to an open discussion and planning meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 30 , at 7 p.m. at the recreation center. All are welcome to help brainstorm about the rules and regulations, hours of operation and future programming of the teen center, under construction now in the northeast wing of the recreation center.

Flu shot clinic set for Monday
      The Friends of the Jamestown Library are sponsoring a Flu Shot Clinic from Blue Cross at the Jamestown library on Monday, Oct. 29, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Getting the flu can make people feel rotten. It can cause body aches, sore throat, fever, cough, congestion, and extreme fatigue. The best defense against the flu is a flu shot.

Tour Jamestown's new Town Hall
      Everyone is invited to an open house to see the interior of the new Town Hall on Monday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Now that the construction is complete, furniture is in place and employees have adjusted to their new surroundings, town employees want to show off the new facility.
