Helping those in need


McQuade's Market Manager Maurice Browning, left, Jamestown Rotary Club president-elect David Reardon, center, and John Williamson, Rotary Club past-president and McQuade's clerk, gather to put together this year's Thanksgiving baskets for those in need. The Jamestown Rotary Club Thanksgiving Basket program was started by Joe Porter and has been a yearly event since 1979, with over 600 baskets handed out. The baskets included a 10 to 12 pound turkey and everything needed for a full Thanksgiving dinner.
