Thanks to craft show volunteers
The CIAA's Holiday Craft Show was lively and well-organized, thanks to the hard work of show manager Deborah Goyette, owner of The Purple Door. I spoke with many of the crafters who participated, and they reported brisk sales and happy shoppers.
Deb had help from many people, and we would like to thank Priscilla Foley, Tania Biddle, Barbara Marom-Pollack, Barbara Hutchison, Don Gillis, Shirley Bell, Karen Rafanelli and the Jamestown PTO, the Melrose school staff, Fire Marshall Paul Christman, Jonah Gadoury, every business that hung our poster, and, last but not least, the Jamestown Press.
We only wish that the Melrose Avenue School had more space, so that we could include every artisan and crafter who wanted to participate. Deb, for example, relinquished her own opportunity to participate so that others could. Thank you!
