"Invisible Children" to be screened
The Jamestown Teen Center will host a movie screening of "Invisible Children" this Friday, Dec. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the recreation center. The film depicts the reality of children in Uganda, Africa, who are kidnapped from their homes and trained as child soldiers to fight in the Northern Uganda civil war.
The film will be presented by local youth organizers and will be followed by a discussion session. The screening is open to the public and admission is free, with donations going to support the children of Africa. The film is not recommended for children under 12, unless accompanied by an adult.
