      Drunk driving charged Joseph A. Mendelsohn, 18, of 29 Marine Ave. was charged with drunk driving Jan. 1 at 12:30 a.m. after a traffic stop for driving erratically on Route 138. Mendelsohn is scheduled to appear Jan. 5 in Newport District Court, police said.
